Travel times are about to get a lot shorter for some fliers at unveiled Wednesday a passenger pre-screening program at the airport for
select frequent travelers contacted by US Airways, Delta Air Lines and The program will also apply to members of U.S.Customs and Border Protection “trusted traveler” programs.The pre-screening allows travelers to keep their shoes and belts on,as well as their laptops in their bags,as they move through security
checkpoints.passengers looking to take part in the precheck program

scan their barcode at checkpoints that let them move to faster through a
special precheck lane on concourse D at BWI.The Linthicum airport is the 29th airport nationally to adopt the TSA program,which has already served 3.5 million passengers.Southwest Airlines, the largest carrier at BWI,is not a part of the TSA’s precheck program.
