photographer Peter Zay on a photo tour in the beautiful North Carolina
mountains on Saturday, October 20th. We will be traveling to the famous
Linville Falls to share in making outstanding images and unlocking the
secrets to digital nature photography. This may be the premiere weekend
for observing the peak of the Autumn colors. Participants
will be encouraged to explore a personal photography goal and to ask
questions. Technical aspects of macro photography will be discussed
while photographing along the tour. Students should take with them any
equipment such as tripods, a flash, various lenses and filters. Peter
will meet the group at the Visitor Center parking lot of Linville Falls
at 10:30 am and the tour will end around 4:30. Students should pack a
picnic.
In the
event of inclement weather, the workshop will be rescheduled. A
notification system will be put into place for the group to confirm the
tour early Saturday morning.
